Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Protein Purification Scientist to join our dynamic R&D team. This role involves critical tasks in the extraction of macronutrients from plants and microalgae, conducting qualitative research, and ensuring laboratory safety. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving our innovative projects forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute experiments for extracting macronutrients from plants and microalgae.
  • Implement experimental designs and report results.
  • Conduct Protein Content Analysis Tests and interpret outcomes.
  • Develop strategies for native and recombinant protein purification and analysis.
  • Identify solutions and adapt procedures for experimental challenges.
  • Manage project schedules and ensure timely delivery of quality reagents.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver research and technical data.
  • Contribute to the collection, analysis, interpretation, and communication of research data.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Phytochemistry, Protein Biochemistry, or related fields.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with lab equipment such as Centrifuge, Homogenizer, and Spectrophotometer.
  • Knowledge of chemical hazard and lab safety protocols.
